Minnesota ranks as 9th most fun state in new study

Minnesota has been ranked as the 9th most fun state in the U.S. by a WalletHub study. The ranking evaluated 50 states across 26 indicators, including nightlife, entertainment, and accessibility to national parks, focusing on affordable enjoyable experiences. While California took the top spot, Minnesota outperformed neighbors like Wisconsin and Iowa.

The Minnesota State Fair continues to be a major cultural draw, offering historical walking tours and a dedicated History & Heritage Center that showcases over 150 years of fair history. Upcoming attractions for the fair include dinosaur presentations by the Science Museum of Minnesota, new funhouses, and various musical performances.

In Northern Minnesota, the Duluth area is seeing increased national attention. A new television series, ‘Lake Superior Living,’ is entering production on the REAL Shows Network to highlight the region's real estate and lifestyle.
