Minnesota revokes licenses of Arnold Kubei’s healthcare companies

The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has ordered the revocation of licenses for Metro Care Human Services and Home Sweet Home of Minnesota, two companies operated by Arnold Kubei. The revocation follows investigations into suspected fraud involving the companies, which had collectively received approximately $36.2 million in Medicaid and other state-administered payments.

The revocation orders, dated October 7 and 8, mandate that the businesses be suspended from participating in Minnesota Health Care Programs for 10 years, effective October 30. Additionally, correction orders issued earlier this month identified a total of 47 licensing violations at Metro Care residential treatment facilities.
