Minnesota sports teams expand television viewing options

The Minnesota Wild and Minnesota Timberwolves are introducing new ways for fans to access game broadcasts as both teams move toward standalone streaming subscriptions for the 2026-2027 season.

The Minnesota Wild have secured several television partners, including Spectrum, Fubo, and various smaller regional cable providers. Additionally, a new agreement between the NHL and DirecTV will bring Wild games to DirecTV’s traditional satellite service, DirecTV Stream, and U-verse for subscribers with a ‘Choice’ package or higher. While most games will be available through these partners or an Amazon Prime Video add-on, Comcast Xfinity customers currently lack access as negotiations continue.

The Minnesota Timberwolves have also announced a new option for fans to watch games outside of the DAZN streaming service.
