Minnesota State Fair faces vendor exits and distillery sales restrictions

The Minnesota State Fair faces both regulatory hurdles and vendor changes ahead of its upcoming season. Due to existing state laws, Minnesota distilleries remain prohibited from selling their products at the fair, even though craft brewers and wineries have been granted permission to sell their beverages on the grounds.

Additionally, the fair's food lineup will see the absence of eleven popular vendors this year. Notable exits include Harry Singh's Caribbean, which is closing following the death of founder Harry Singh in July. Other departing vendors include Scenic 61, known for its lobster rolls, and Oo-da Tacos.
