Minnesota State Fair sets new opening day attendance record

The Minnesota State Fair set a new all-time record for opening day attendance on Thursday, August 27. According to figures released by the fair, 155,185 people visited the fairgrounds on the first day.

This turnout significantly exceeds previous records. The previous highest opening day attendance was 138,875 in 2024, followed by approximately 137,148 the year prior.
