Minnesota Timberwolves expand free over-the-air game coverage

The Minnesota Timberwolves, KARE 11, and DAZN have announced a partnership to simulcast 15 games free over-the-air during the 2026-27 season. The broadcasts will be available on KARE 11 and will also stream for free on the DAZN platform.

In addition to the Minneapolis market, coverage is expanding to adjacent territories through an agreement with Gray Media. This will bring the 15-game package to Rochester, Duluth, and Mankato, Minnesota, via digital broadcast channels, as well as to the La Crosse-Eau Claire, Wisconsin market on a CW Network affiliate. Select games in these markets will also air on Gray’s primary ABC, NBC, CBS, or Fox affiliates.

The simulcasts will feature DAZN’s full game production and a newly announced broadcast team. Matt Caldwell, CEO of the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, stated that expanding access to the team is a key priority for the organization.
