Minnesota Timberwolves undergo major roster overhaul for 2026-2027 season
The Minnesota Timberwolves have undergone significant roster changes heading into the 2026-2027 season. Following an offseason that saw the team trade for LaMelo Ball and sign Jonathan Kuminga, the roster has moved on from Julius Randle and Naz Reid.
Led by Anthony Edwards and coached by Chris Finch, the team is preparing for a competitive Western Conference. The preseason schedule includes matchups against the Milwaukee Bucks, Indiana Pacers, Miami Heat, and New York Knicks, beginning in October.
While the team has limited draft capital remaining, analysts suggest they may still possess tradeable assets, such as Isaiah Evans, should they seek to make adjustments around the midseason trade deadline in February.
