Kaelen Culpepper hits home run in MLB debut for Minnesota Twins
Minnesota Twins top prospect Kaelen Culpepper made a successful Major League Baseball debut during a series against the Milwaukee Brewers. Culpepper, the organization's No. 2 prospect and a 2024 first-round pick, was promoted from Triple-A St. Paul to bolster the Twins' offensive production at shortstop.
In his debut, Culpepper hit a 390-foot solo home run in the fourth inning. His performance contributed to a high-scoring 8-6 comeback victory for the Twins in the series opener. However, the Twins also faced challenges, including placing pitcher Joe Ryan on the 15-day injured list with a glute strain and losing the following game to the Brewers 4-3.
