Minnesota Twins prospects headed to Arizona Fall League

The Minnesota Twins have concluded their regular season and postseason pursuits, shifting focus toward player development and the upcoming offseason. Eight Twins prospects have been selected to participate in the Arizona Fall League, playing for the Salt River Rafters. The group includes Yasser Mercedes, a high-ranking organizational prospect, Kyle DeBarge, Ross Dunn, Cesar Lares, Cleiber Maldonado, Jake Murray, Jacob McCombs, and Brian Zeldin.

On the field, the Twins recently suffered a 9-2 loss to the Cleveland Guardians. The game highlighted struggles for pitcher Joe Ryan, who faced difficulties following his return from the injured list. The loss aligns with a disappointing second half for the team as they enter a transition period aimed at building a competitive roster for 2027.
