Minnesota vehicle accidents leave two women injured
Two separate vehicle accidents in Minnesota resulted in injuries to women in Wright and Stearns counties.
In Clearwater, a two-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Ash Street and Highway 24 on Monday. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that a small SUV driven by 19-year-old Kaylena McCalister collided with a minivan driven by 64-year-old Carrie Hannasch. McCalister was transported to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The minivan driver and McCalister's passenger were not injured.
In St. Wendel Township, a single-vehicle rollover crash occurred on County Road 133 on Saturday afternoon. Authorities believe 33-year-old Emily Bushman overcorrected while navigating a curve, causing the vehicle to enter a ditch and roll. Bushman was ejected from the vehicle and taken to St. Cloud Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Investigators believe speed and alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
