Minnesota vehicle crashes result in multiple injuries

Two separate vehicle accidents in Minnesota resulted in injuries this week.

In Zumbrota, an 18-year-old woman from Chatfield was injured on Highway 52 when her northbound passenger car lost control and entered the median. The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the driver was unrestrained at the time of the crash, though alcohol was not a factor. She was transported to St. Marys Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

In Albertville, a collision occurred on Interstate 94 involving a car and an SUV. The driver of the SUV, a 53-year-old woman from Maple Grove, was taken to a hospital in Monticello with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car, a 17-year-old from Buffalo, was not injured in the incident.
