Minnesota Vikings defense leads undefeated 4-0 start

The Minnesota Vikings have maintained an undefeated 4-0 start to the NFL season, driven largely by a highly effective defense led by coordinator Brian Flores. The defense has led the league with 16 sacks through the first four weeks, often compensating for an offense that has failed to score a touchdown in half of its games.

Opposing players, including Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, have noted the difficulty of preparing for Flores’s blitz-heavy and unpredictable schemes. To further strengthen the unit, there is speculation regarding a potential trade for veteran safety Minkah Fitzpatrick from the New York Jets, as the Vikings look to bolster a secondary that currently relies on players like Harrison Smith and Josh Metellus.
