Minnesota Vikings defensive updates and trade rumors

The Minnesota Vikings are reportedly considering moves to bolster their roster ahead of the NFL trade deadline. One potential target is Philadelphia Eagles defensive star Jalen Carter. Reports suggest that two third-round draft picks might be sufficient to secure a trade for the defensive tackle, whose aggressive play style is viewed as a potential fit for defensive coordinator Brian Flores’s scheme.

In other roster news, several former Vikings defensive tackles have seen movement across the league. Eric Johnson II has joined the Cleveland Browns’ practice squad, Taki Taimani has earned a tryout with the New York Giants, and Naquan Jones was released by the San Francisco 49ers.
