Minnesota Vikings make practice squad moves

The Minnesota Vikings have announced changes to their practice squad, releasing offensive tackle Tristan Leigh and signing outside linebacker Jihad Ward.

Leigh, a former Clemson lineman and team captain, had previously signed with the Vikings' practice squad in early October after being waived during the initial roster cutdowns in August. During his collegiate career at Clemson, Leigh was a consistent starter, logging over 2,200 offensive snaps across 42 games.

Jihad Ward returns to Minnesota for his second stint with the team this year. A former second-round pick, Ward has played for several NFL franchises, including the Raiders, Colts, Ravens, Giants, and Titans. He most recently played for the Titans in 2024 before his return to the Vikings' practice squad.
