Minnesota Vikings roster and draft outlook following Week 7 victory

Following a 16-10 victory over the Indianapolis Colts, Minnesota Vikings veterans Kyle Van Noy and Aaron Jones have addressed recent performances on social media. Van Noy used social media to praise teammates Blake Cashman, Will Reichard, and Harrison Smith for their contributions to the win. Meanwhile, running back Aaron Jones responded to criticisms regarding his performance, asserting, “I am Elite! Put some respect on my name.”

As the NFL trade deadline approaches, the Vikings are evaluating their roster needs, cap space, and future draft capital. The team holds a strong position for the 2027 NFL Draft, possessing multiple picks in the second, third, fifth, and sixth rounds. The 2028 draft outlook remains standard, with the team holding one pick in every round from the first through the seventh.
