Minnesota Vikings sign former Saints running backs to practice squad

The Minnesota Vikings have signed several players to their practice squad to bolster roster depth, specifically addressing injuries in the running back position. The team added former New Orleans Saints running backs Devin Neal and Audric Estime.

Devin Neal, a former standout at Kansas and a 2025 sixth-round pick by the Saints, joins the Vikings following an injury settlement with New Orleans. He provides depth as starter Aaron Jones manages a knee injury and Jordan Mason remains on injured reserve with a broken thumb. Estime, a 2024 fifth-round pick, also joins the squad after being waived by the Saints.

In addition to the running backs, the Vikings announced practice squad signings for punter Johnny Hekker, outside linebacker Keshawn Banks, and offensive lineman Josh Priebe.
