Minnesota Vikings sign two wide receivers as Packers' Micah Parsons misses Week 1

Minnesota Vikings general manager Nolan Teasley, just days after his introductory press conference, signed undrafted free agents wide receiver Michael Briscoe and former Seattle Seahawks player Trayvon Rudolph. Briscoe, a Cal Poly alumnus, posted 87 catches for 1,776 yards and 15 touchdowns in college, while Rudolph recorded 192 catches for 2,482 yards at Northern Illinois and Toledo and earned All-MAC honors as a return specialist. To create roster space, the Vikings waived wide receiver Joaquin Davis.

Meanwhile, Green Bay Packers star edge rusher Micah Parsons will remain on the physically unable‑to‑perform list through at least September, missing the first four games after ACL and meniscus surgery. His absence gives the Vikings a tactical advantage in their opening matchup.
