At the same camp, quarterbacks Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy are competing for the starting role. Wide‑receiver Justin Jefferson said he "loves a competition" and is focused on building rapport with both quarterbacks, emphasizing that the eventual starter will need consistent leadership for the upcoming season.
