Minnesota Vikings update Jordan Mason status and roster changes
The Minnesota Vikings are preparing for their Week 7 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts with significant updates to their running back rotation. Running back Jordan Mason is expected to return to the active roster after spending four games on injured reserve due to a thumb fracture. Head coach Kevin O’Connell noted that while Mason is technically designated as “questionable,” he practiced fully throughout the week and things look positive for his availability.
To facilitate Mason's return, the Vikings have released running back DeeJay Dallas from the 53-man roster. Mason will join Aaron Jones Sr. and rookie Demond Claiborne on the active list. Additionally, the team reported that several key players, including left tackle Christian Darrisaw, tight end TJ Hockenson, and wide receiver Jordan Addison, have been cleared to play following previous injury concerns.
