Minnesota Wild activate Jared Spurgeon and Nico Sturm from injured reserve

The Minnesota Wild have activated captain Jared Spurgeon and forward Nico Sturm from the injured reserve. Spurgeon returns to the lineup following a four-game absence due to an upper-body injury sustained on October 12.

Nico Sturm also returns to the roster after recovering from an upper-body injury. Sturm was previously hospitalized as a precaution after being struck in the head by a puck during a game against the Vegas Golden Knights.

In a corresponding roster move, the Wild reassigned forward Hunter Haight to the AHL’s Iowa Wild.
