Quinn Hughes contributed a goal and an assist, while Jared Spurgeon also scored to secure the victory. Jesper Wallstedt made 26 saves in net for Minnesota.

The Bruins took an early 1-0 lead through Tanner Jeannot less than two minutes into the first period. However, the Wild's special teams proved decisive, scoring twice on the power play to take control in the second period.
