Minor injured in hit-and-run accident near Trapen, Chile

A minor was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident at the Trapen access crossing on the route to the Puente El Molino sector in Chile. The incident occurred around 9:12 PM.

Emergency responders, including the First and Second Companies of the Crucero Fire Department, Carabineros from the Filuco station, and SAMU medical personnel from Río Bueno, attended the scene. After receiving initial first aid and treatment at a local hospital, the victim's condition required an urgent transfer under Carabineros escort to the Hospital Base de Osorno.

The driver of the vehicle involved fled the scene immediately after the impact without providing assistance. Authorities are currently investigating to locate the perpetrator.
