Minority associations gather in Sveti Đurađ, Croatia

The Hungarian Community of Virovitica-Podravina County organized a meeting of national minority associations in Sveti Đurađ. The event brought together various groups representing German, Austrian, Hungarian, and Czech minorities.

Attendees included several cultural organizations such as the German and Austrian Association of Sirač, the Czech Beseda of Virovitica-Podravina County, and various dance and music groups. Local officials, including County Prefect Igor Andrović and Virovitica social activities head Alen Bjelica, attended the gathering.

The meeting focused on preserving cultural heritage through language, song, dance, and social interaction. The event concluded with a program featuring traditional Hungarian gastronomy and musical performances.
