Minors arrested in separate drug-related incidents in Albania and Switzerland

Authorities in Albania and Switzerland have arrested minors in separate drug-related incidents.

In Vlorë, Albania, police conducted operation ‘Shkolla të pastra’ (Clean Schools) near a school in the Pavarësia neighborhood. A 17-year-old resident of Orikum was arrested in flagrante delicto, while another 17-year-old from Dukat was processed. Officers seized dozens of doses of cocaine and cannabis, a vehicle driven without a license, and three mobile phones. The case has been referred to the Vlorë Prosecutor's Office.

In Dietikon, Switzerland, a 16-year-old Kosovar national was arrested by Zurich Cantonal Police after a high-speed pursuit on a stolen scooter. The teenager attempted to evade police by using an emergency lane and fleeing on foot after crashing the scooter. During the chase, he discarded a bag containing approximately 50 grams of hashish. The individual, who resides in the Aargau canton, faces legal proceedings regarding several suspected offenses.
