Mint Chalida engaged to billionaire Pupaa Taechanarong

Thai actress Mint Chalida has announced her engagement to billionaire heir Pupaa Taechanarong following an elaborate proposal in Kyrgyzstan. The couple, who have been in a relationship for 14 years, reached the proposal site after several hours of horseback riding and hiking through a famous valley.

The engagement follows a period of personal turbulence for the couple. In 2024, after 12 years of dating, Taechanarong expressed a desire to become a monk, a decision that reportedly caused enough shock to lead to Chalida’s hospitalization. However, he has since changed his mind and committed to marriage.

Chalida shared details of the surprise event at a recent product launch, noting that her brother assisted in the plan by acting as a photographer and secretly carrying a bridal veil. The wedding is expected to take place in Khao Yai, Thailand, once the families have selected an auspicious date.
