Minya road accident kills two and injures 11
A microbus rollover on the West Desert Road in the Minya Governorate has resulted in the deaths of two people and injuries to 11 others. The accident occurred near the ‘Egyptian Countryside’ project in the Samalut district.
The deceased have been identified as 53-year-old Ahmed Diab Mahmoud and 63-year-old Magdy Sawi Ali. Among the 11 injured are several individuals, including two children aged 3.
Emergency services and ambulances responded to the scene, transporting the injured to the Samalut Specialized Hospital for medical treatment. The bodies of the deceased were taken to the hospital morgue. Local authorities have cleared the accident site to restore normal traffic flow, and the Public Prosecution has launched an investigation into the circumstances of the crash.
