Miodrag Božović appointed head coach of FK Vardar

Miodrag Božović has been appointed as the new head coach of FK Vardar, the reigning champions of North Macedonia. The experienced Montenegrin strategist has signed a contract that runs until June 2028.

Božović takes over the club following a difficult start to the season and the departure of Christian Fabiani. He is tasked with closing an eight-point gap between Vardar and league leaders Shkendija.

Božović brings an extensive coaching pedigree to Skopje, having previously managed numerous clubs across Europe and Asia, including notable stints in Russia with Dynamo Moscow, Lokomotiv Moscow, and Rostov, as well as roles at Red Star Belgrade and Budućnost Podgorica.
