Miodrag Linta condemns Zukan Helez over Dayton Agreement remarks
Miodrag Linta, President of the Alliance of Serbs from the Region, has condemned statements made by Bosnia and Herzegovina Defense Minister Zukan Helez, describing them as a dangerous threat to peace and stability in the country.
Linta criticized Helez for suggesting that the international community should withdraw its signature from the Dayton Peace Agreement and for stating that ‘Bosniaks know what to do’. Linta further denounced Helez’s description of Republika Srpska as a ‘genocidal para-state entity,’ arguing that such rhetoric denies the constitutional order of Bosnia and Herzegovina and undermines the foundations of peace established by the Dayton Agreement.
Linta called upon the international community to unequivocally condemn this rhetoric and urged Helez to cease spreading hate speech and fear. He emphasized that peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina requires respect for the Dayton Agreement and the rights of all constituent peoples.
