Mira Andreeva Wins First Grand Slam Title at Roland Garros

Russian 19‑year‑old Mira Andreeva captured her first Grand Slam crown by defeating Poland’s qualifier Maja Chwalinska 6‑3, 6‑2 in the Roland Garros women's final. The win makes Andreeva the youngest Roland Garros champion since Monika Seleš in 1992. Ranked 114th in the world and seeded eighth, she dominated the match from the start, breaking early and holding serve throughout to secure the title.

Her victory adds a new name to the roll of Grand Slam winners and highlights the rising talent on the WTA tour.
