Highlights included the blessing of the pilgrims, a monumental procession through the streets and a "pyro‑musical" show.
Earlier in July, Mira also organized the Santo Pipo festival on the Cabeço, featuring concerts, sporting contests such as motocross and volleyball, a traditional procession in honour of the saint, and community meals. organisers, led by ACCM president Luís Monteiro, emphasized the event’s role in reuniting residents, emigrants and visitors.
Both celebrations underlined Mira’s cultural heritage and its appeal as a summer destination in Portugal.
