Mirae Asset Securities and Grvt partner on tokenised funding notes

Mirae Asset Securities (HK) Limited has arranged the issuance of tokenised funding notes, which the blockchain financial platform Grvt has subscribed to. The notes were issued under a structured notes programme and utilize the Solana and Ethereum networks.

This transaction marks the beginning of a collaboration between the two entities to bridge traditional finance with decentralized finance (DeFi). Grvt intends to use the exposure from these notes in connection with its ‘Grvt Earn’ service, which provides yield opportunities based on real-world assets (RWA).

The companies are exploring future opportunities to expand into other tokenised products, including government treasuries, corporate bonds, and ETFs, subject to regulatory approvals and internal compliance. Both parties emphasized that any further expansion into tokenised products remains in an exploratory stage and is contingent upon meeting applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
