Mirae Asset's US Nasdaq‑100 Covered‑Call ETF Passes 2 Trillion Won
Mirae Asset Investment Management reported that its TIGER US Nasdaq‑100 Target Daily Covered‑Call ETF has surpassed 2 trillion won in total assets, reaching 2.022 trillion won as of June 22, according to the Korea Exchange. The fund, launched in June 2024, invests in the US Nasdaq‑100 index and employs a daily covered‑call strategy that provides regular cash‑flow through monthly distributions.
Since listing, the ETF has delivered an annual distribution yield of about 15% and a cumulative total‑return of 54.3% including dividends. Monthly payouts grew from 120 won in July 2024 to 151 won by June 2025, a 26% increase. Investor demand has risen amid heightened market volatility, with private investors buying a net 155.4 billion won of shares in the past month. Lee Jeong‑hwan, head of the strategy ETF unit, said the asset‑size milestone reflects growing interest in products that combine growth exposure with option‑premium income.
