Miral and HKGFA announce major expansions in entertainment and green finance

Miral and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Experiences have announced the expansion of Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi on Yas Island. The project will introduce three new Harry Potter-themed lands: Diagon Alley, Hogwarts, and the Forbidden Forest. Spanning approximately 63,000 square meters, the expansion will feature world-exclusive rides designed specifically for the Abu Dhabi park, with construction expected to be completed by 2029.

Separately, the Hong Kong Green Finance Association (HKGFA) and the Greater Bay Area Green Finance Alliance (GBA-GFA) held their annual forums in Hong Kong. The event, themed ‘Bridging Divides: Asia’s Leadership in Transition and Resilience’, focused on green technology and finance collaboration across twenty jurisdictions. The forum included the launch of the Green Accelerator, a Hong Kong-based platform intended to prepare green projects for investment by multilateral development banks and sovereign wealth funds.
