Miral to invest AED 12 billion in Yas Island developments
Miral, the Abu Dhabi-based developer, has announced an investment of more than AED 12 billion to develop Yas Island over the next five years. The capital will fund a pipeline of new developments, including the expansion of existing theme parks, the introduction of new immersive rides, and the growth of the island’s hospitality sector through additional hotel rooms.
This initiative aligns with Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030 and aims to strengthen the island's position as a global leisure destination. The investment is separate from previously announced projects, such as the Disney Theme Park Resort. Miral Chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak stated that the move is intended to build on Yas Island’s momentum and contribute to the emirate’s economic diversification and sustainable growth.
