Miralem Pjanic recalls Allegri tactic to bypass Ronaldo

During the Festival dello Sport in Trento, former Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic shared several anecdotes regarding his career and the tactical decisions of former manager Massimiliano Allegri.

Pjanic recalled a specific match against Napoli in March 2019. He revealed that Allegri used a tactical maneuver to ensure Pjanic, rather than Cristiano Ronaldo, took a crucial free kick. When Ronaldo earned a foul, Allegri immediately sent medical staff onto the pitch to assist the player, forcing Ronaldo to temporarily leave the field and allowing Pjanic to score the decisive goal.

Pjanic also discussed the emergence of young talent, specifically highlighting 13-year-old Emre Alajbegovic. He praised the boy's personality and potential, noting that Emre is the younger brother of Kerim Alajbegovic, a recent Juventus signing. Pjanic expressed pride in seeing Bosnian players succeeding at clubs like Juventus.
