Miranda Lambert and Parker McCollum release surprise duet

Country music artist Miranda Lambert has released a surprise duet with Parker McCollum titled ‘Seven Year Ache’. The track is a cover of Rosanne Cash’s 1981 hit and is being offered as a limited-time iTunes exclusive for fans who download Lambert’s new album, ‘Crisco’, which was released on October 2.

The collaboration reunites the two Texas-born artists, who previously worked together on the track ‘Santa Fe’ from the album ‘Postcards From Texas’. The pair also co-led the ‘Band Together Texas’ benefit concert, which raised more than $8.5 million for flood relief in their home state.

Lambert praised McCollum as a ‘natural artist’ who is ‘authentically himself’, while McCollum described Lambert as a major inspiration and one of his favorite country voices.
