Miranda Lambert evolves career with new album and hit collaborations

Country music artist Miranda Lambert is entering a new phase of her career with the release of her new album, ‘Crisco’. Reflecting on her two-decade journey since her breakout single ‘Kerosene’, Lambert has transitioned from a defiant individualist to a collaborative figure in the industry.

In 2026, Lambert contributed to the success of rising star Ella Langley, co-writing and co-producing the hit ballad ‘Choosin’ Texas’. The song, which draws inspiration from the ‘Urban Cowboy’ era of the 1980s, has achieved significant success on both country and pop charts.

Lambert recently celebrated the 20th anniversary of ‘Kerosene’ at the Academy of Country Music Awards by performing a duet of the song with Langley.
