Miranda Lambert reveals husband had not heard her 2016 album

During a recent appearance on Apple Music’s The Kelleigh Bannen Show, country singer Miranda Lambert shared that her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, had never heard her 2016 ACM Award-winning double album, ‘The Weight of These Wings’.

Lambert noted that while McLoughlin supports her career and co-wrote five songs on her latest album, ‘Crisco’, he has not been a ‘super-fan’ of her entire discography. She mentioned that when they met in 2018, he only knew a few of her songs and was vocal about which ones he did or did not like. During the show, backup singer Gwen Sebastian played a selection of tracks from the 2016 album for him on the spot.
