Miranda Lambert to headline Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving halftime show

Country music star Miranda Lambert has been announced as the headliner for the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day halftime show at AT&T Stadium. The performance will take place during the nationally televised matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on November 26.

The event serves as the kickoff for the Salvation Army’s 30th annual Red Kettle Campaign. This holiday fundraising initiative has raised more than $3.4 billion over the last three decades to support individuals and families facing financial hardship. Lambert, a Texas native, expressed excitement about returning to her home state to participate in the tradition, noting the power of music to spread hope to those in need.

Separately, Lambert has reflected on her creative process following her 2015 divorce from Blake Shelton. Speaking on the ‘And The Writer Is…’ podcast, she described how she channeled the “misery” of that period into songwriting after moving back to Nashville. This prolific period resulted in approximately 75 songs, many of which formed her sixth studio album, ‘The Weight of These Wings’.
