Miranda Lambert to headline opening of Nashville's The Truth venue

Country music artist Miranda Lambert is set to headline the opening night of The Truth, a new 4,400-capacity live music venue located in Nashville’s Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. The one-night-only performance, titled “Miranda Lambert: One Night Only,” will take place on October 1.

The concert serves as a precursor to the release of her new album, “Crisco,” which is scheduled to arrive via MCA on October 2. The performance will feature a 12-piece string section, offering a new orchestral arrangement for her existing hits and providing an early preview of select tracks from the upcoming album.

“Crisco” is described as an exploration of the connection between country music’s dance hall roots and disco energy. The venue opening marks the first time Lambert will perform with this specific string arrangement on stage.
