Miranda Pearman-Maday clarifies comments on 'That's So Raven' viewership

Miranda Pearman-Maday has addressed previous online backlash regarding her familiarity with the Disney Channel series ‘That’s So Raven’. During an appearance on the podcast ‘Tea Time With Raven & Miranda’ with Keke Palmer, Pearman-Maday clarified that while she was not a dedicated viewer of the show growing up, she was aware of Raven-Symoné’s career and cultural presence.

Pearman-Maday noted that her earlier comments on a different podcast led to significant online criticism and death threats, as some fans interpreted her lack of viewership as a dismissal of her wife’s impact. She explained that ‘watching a show is different than knowing someone exists’ and noted that she had encountered the series through her younger sister’s viewership.
