Mirante Rio Cuiabá reopens after revitalization

The Mirante Rio Cuiabá, located in the Orla do Porto, has reopened to the public following revitalization and structural recovery works. The site, situated near the Museu do Rio and the Municipal Aquarium, had been preventively closed by the Municipal Tourism Secretariat due to conservation issues that posed safety risks to visitors.

Under the management of Fellipe Corrêa, the Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism, and Agriculture, the intervention included repairing deteriorated areas, recovering the metal structure, and painting the floor and railings. The site also received new LED lighting to improve visibility and usability during the night. The revitalization aims to reintegrate the lookout into the traditional visitation circuit of Cuiabá, offering views of the Rio Cuiabá and the bridge.
