Mircea Bravo responds to Steaua București dispute over Gigi Becali photo

Comedian Mircea Bravo has responded to a social media controversy involving a photograph of him with businessman Gigi Becali and a woman known as ‘Bunica’. The dispute arose after Bravo posted the image with the caption, ‘Bunica, from summer to Steaua!’.

Representatives from the Steaua București club intervened in the comments, requesting that the comedian distinguish between the two rival football entities, Steaua and FCSB, noting that the person in the photo has no connection to the Steaua club.

Bravo stated that the encounter with Becali was accidental while walking on the street. He explained that while he initially intended to film a humorous video, he decided against it out of respect for the setting. Regarding the backlash, Bravo noted that he does not fully understand the complexities of the conflict between FCSB and Steaua, jokingly expressing hope that he will not face physical aggression on the streets of Bucharest.
