Mircea cel Bătrân Park inaugurated in Râmnicu Vâlcea

Mircea cel Bătrân Park in the center of Râmnicu Vâlcea has been officially inaugurated following a major modernization project. The investment, totaling approximately 19.82 million lei, aimed to transform the area into a modern, accessible, and attractive public space for city residents.

Mayor Mircia Gutău stated that the project was completed according to the original plan and without delays, despite tensions encountered during the construction process. Key features of the renovation include improved accessibility solutions, such as a ramp system for persons with disabilities, and enhanced lighting designed to highlight the walkways, benches, and landscaped areas at night.
