Mirel Rădoi departs Gaziantep after seven matches

Mirel Rădoi has departed from the Turkish club Gaziantep after a tenure of only seven matches. The decision to end the contract prematurely was made by the club's leadership following a 1-2 loss against Rizespor.

Reports indicate that Rădoi accepted a compensation payment of 200,000 euros to facilitate the separation, despite his contract originally running until June 2027. This amount is significantly lower than the estimated one million euros that might have been owed under normal circumstances. In total, Rădoi earned 600,000 euros during his four months with the club, including his initial signing fee and monthly salary.

Despite the dismissal, the separation appears to have been professional. Gaziantep Vice President Dagdeviren Guney praised Rădoi on social media, describing him as one of the best-defined characters he has worked with, while noting that the departure was due to a lack of synergy rather than conflict.
