Mirela Vaida faces physical challenge during Asia Express mission in Uzbekistan

Mirela Vaida, a participant in the competition Asia Express, faced a significant physical challenge during a mission in a traditional Uzbek hammam. While the setting appeared to offer a moment of relaxation, the intense traditional massage and exfoliation techniques proved to be a grueling test of endurance.

Vaida, who was already suffering from muscle soreness due to previous physical efforts on the Silk Road route, had to endure the intense procedures as part of a competition mission. Participants were required to recognize specific massage techniques to progress in the race. Because the mission required repeating certain maneuvers, the physical discomfort was compounded for Vaida and her teammate, Oana Tomoiagă.
