Miriam Yeung and GiGi Wong reunite at Macau banquet

Former TVB actresses Miriam Yeung (Ah Je) and GiGi Wong shared a warm public moment at a celebratory banquet for Ada Choi’s concert in Macau. The appearance of the two veteran stars together ended decades of rumors regarding a rift between them.

The long-standing tension was reportedly traced back to a 1976 filming accident on the set of the wuxia drama ‘The Book and the Sword’. During a scene, a prop sword used by Yeung broke, causing a fragment to strike Wong near her eyebrow, which required stitches. Wong previously noted that she felt slighted when she did not receive a follow-up call from Yeung at the time.

Yeung has addressed the incident in the past, admitting that she was young and lacked social maturity to handle the situation properly, and has offered apologies. Their recent close interaction, including posing together with arms around each other, suggests that any past grievances have been resolved.
