Miriam Yeung completes Shanghai concert leg and reflects on personal growth
Hong Kong singer Miriam Yeung recently completed the Shanghai leg of her ‘Live MY LIVE 1.0’ world tour. During her visit, she also hosted activities for her creative project, ‘Am’miri Home’, which focuses on the intersection of music and lifestyle.
Addressing recent concerns regarding her health during a previous concert in Guangzhou, Yeung clarified that her stage outfits are made of thin, breathable, and elastic material. She humorously dismissed rumors that her husband was mistreating her by forcing her to wear heavy clothing, noting that the heat caused perspiration rather than the wardrobe being the issue.
Yeung also reflected on a period of personal and professional stagnation she experienced while living in Shanghai for several years. She described this time as a period of ‘shutting down’ to process emotions and manage loneliness. She credited her family, particularly her son, for providing support during these low points.
Following her mainland China tour, which is expected to continue until late November, Yeung plans to take a break.
