Mirko Filipović responds to social media insults

Retired Croatian MMA fighter Mirko Filipović, known as Cro Cop, recently engaged in a heated social media exchange after a Facebook user insulted him. The commenter labeled Filipović a “communist and great traitor,” referred to him as a “punching bag,” and falsely claimed his greatest achievement was serving as a minister of sport.

Filipović responded to the provocations by addressing the inaccuracies, noting that communism has not existed in the country since 1990 and clarifying that he never served as a government minister. He used sharp rhetoric to criticize the commenter’s intelligence and literacy, suggesting the individual should educate themselves. He concluded the exchange by mockingly greeting the user on behalf of the “communists and traitors” mentioned in the insult.
