Mirko Jozic honored by Colo Colo during return to Chile
Mirko Jozic, the Croatian manager who led Colo Colo to the 1991 Copa Libertadores title, has returned to Chile to receive several honors. During a ceremony at the Teatro Caupolicán, Jozic was celebrated for his historical contributions to the club.
At the Estadio Monumental, the club announced that the Casa Alba will now bear his name to recognize his role in developing young talent and his impact on the club's history. During his visit, Jozic interacted with current players, including goalkeeper Gabriel Maureira and manager Fernando Ortiz.
Despite the celebrations for Jozic, some fans expressed dissatisfaction during the events, chanting for the departure of Blanco y Negro, the institution managing Colo Colo.
